Kristi
Acuff is the Senior Vice President, Employee and External Relations for
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company.
On behalf of five Owner companies (BP, Chevron, Conoco Phillips,
ExxonMobil, and Koch), Alyeska operates and maintains the 800-mile Trans
Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). TAPS is one of the premier pipeline
systems in the United States transporting crude oil from the North Slope
of Alaska to a terminus at Valdez for loading on tankers.
Kristi joined Alyeska in 2003 as Human Resources Operations Manager. In
July 2004, she was promoted to become part of the executive team as Vice
President, Chief Human Resources Officer and most recently she was
promoted to her current role of Senior Vice President, Employee and
External Relations in May 2007.
Kristi has over 24 years of leadership experience in human resources,
change management and communications in the oil and gas and energy
industries in Alaska and Texas. Her background includes experience in
project management, policy and services development and implementation,
employee relations, communications, leadership and change management.
Prior to joining Alyeska, she was in Human Resources management with BP
for eight years in Alaska and Texas.
Her education includes a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and
Leadership from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s Degree in
Education from the University of Alaska. Her current volunteer work
includes being Chair of the national Human Resources Certification
Institute (HRCI) Board of Directors.
Kristi was born and raised in Alaska. She and her husband Richard
continue to enjoy the many outdoor opportunities the state has to offer.
