Jim
Johnson is Vice President of Pipeline Operations for Alyeska Pipeline
Service Company. Mr. Johnson is a longtime Alaskan and has lived in the
state for the past 42 years. Mr. Johnson joined Alyeska in 1980 as a
mechanical engineer. In 2002, Mr. Johnson became the pipeline manager
and was responsible for all operational and maintenance activities along
the 800-mile-long Trans Alaska Pipeline System, including the pump
stations. Mr. Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
He and his wife
Ellen have two sons, Chris and Mike, and one daughter, Jennifer. Mr.
Johnson resides in Anchorage with his wife.
