Alyeska attends UAA Spring Career Fair

 

Alyeska’s Human Resources and Engineering Departments represented the company at the University of Alaska-Anchorage School of Engineering and Construction Management Career Fair on Feb. 22. The fair allows college students and graduates to meet with companies in the science and engineering fields regarding future employment opportunities.

Alyeska’s recruiting coordinator Robin Thompson organized the event on behalf of the company and noticed an immediate return on the investment.

“We were able to meet face-to-face with a number of students who had recently applied for our summer internship program,” said Thompson, pictured at right. “It’s a great way to learn more about the talent pool available for Alyeska and see what college students are looking for in terms of career choices.”
