Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer of Alyeska Pipeline, Art Mitchell
manages the company’s cash flow, including all commercial
activities and financial results reporting. He has responsibility
for business functions including accounting, business and
strategic planning, commercial, information technology and
internal audit. He is also on Alyeska’s retirement and trust
committee.

Mobile Command Post
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company
continuously maintains oil spill contingency plans and
equipment and trains prevention and response crews for
incidents along the entire 800-mile-long trans-Alaska pipeline
corridor and in Prince William Sound. Incident response can be
directed from Alyeska’s Mobile Command Post (MCP), a
53-foot-long step-deck trailer that provides more than 600
square feet of office space with self-contained power, heat
and air conditioning.
