SMALL FIRE EXTINGUISHED AT OSF

ANCHORAGE, AK -- November 30, 1996 -- Alyeska Pipeline Service Company reported today that a small fire was extinguished at its Operations Support Facility (OSF) on Minnesota Boulevard in Anchorage, AK. The fire started at a ceiling-mounted space heater in the facility. The building’s sprinkler system extinguished the fire. The Operations Support Facility provides equipment maintenance support for pipeline locations. There were personnel on site at the time of the fire. There were no injuries reported and no structural damage resulted from the fire.

The Fire Department reported to the scene and verified the fire had been completely extinguished.
