ANCHORAGE, AK -- January 30, 1997 -- Alyeska Pipeline Service Company announced today that Lawrence R. "Lon" Trotter has been selected as Vice President of Law and Security and General Counsel for the company. Trotter joined Alyeska in 1980 after serving as clerk to then Superior Court Judges Peter J. Kalamarides and Eben H. Lewis. He served most recently as Deputy General Counsel.

Trotter received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College after earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington. Trotter and his family reside in Anchorage.
