FAIRBANKS, AK-June 24, 1997.-Alyeska Pipeline Service Company announced today that Doyon, Limited has been authorized to commence critical design and procurement for a new office complex. Full implementation of the project is pending finalization of the lease and contractual details.

Additional space is required to meet the needs of Alyeska's 300 new Fairbanks Business Unit employees and contractors. The new building will be adjacent to the current North Star Terminal on Bidwell Street off South Cushman. Northstar Terminal will be upgraded as part of the overall construction.

The new office building will be a two story structure providing over 43,000 square feet of office space and related needs. The building will be connected by a sky bridge to the Northstar Terminal complex.

Construction will begin in July and be completed by April 1998. Doyon, Limited has assembled a team of partners including GHEMM Company, DesignAlaska, Bill Allen Development and Great Northwest.
