Goodrich Joins Alyeska as Corporate Safety Director

ANCHORAGE, AK - May 10, 1999 -
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company announced today that Craig Goodrich joined the company on
April 19 as the Corporate Director of Occupational Safety and Health for Alyeska Pipeline.
Mr. Goodrich served most recently as a
Director for the State of Alaska, Department of Public Safety, as Alaska's State Fire
Marshal, a position he held until his joining Alyeska Pipeline. Previously he was with the
Anchorage Fire Department for 21 years before retiring in 1995 as the Director Safety and
Training.
Born and raised in Anchorage, Mr. Goodrich
entered emergency services in 1966 when he began his career serving the City of Anchorage
in water safety and rescue. He began working for the State of Alaska in 1969 serving in
Fish and Wild Life Protection, Judicial Services, and Crash Fire at Anchorage
International Airport before finally entering the arena of structural fire fighting safety
and prevention.
His responsibilities at Alyeska include the
creation and implementation of outreach programs using Alyeska Pipeline's stellar safety
programs as a template through which to deliver and promote community-based safety and
health throughout Alaska.
Mr. Goodrich, his wife Suzanne, and
children Cynthia and Sam live in Anchorage. Their hobbies are skiing, hockey, music, and
history.
