ANCHORAGE, AK –  June 22, 1999 – Alyeska Pipeline Service Company announced today that First National Bank of Anchorage has been selected as provider of Alyeska’s Charge Card Services. Alyeska Pipeline currently expends $10 to 12 million annually utilizing its charge cards with over 2,500 vendors. Alyeska Pipeline’s card program includes a purchasing card and travel & expense card for employees.  This change to First National Bank will also result in a transition from VISA to MasterCard.

Alyeska is pleased to develop another close working relationship with an Alaska vendor.  This selection is important to the ongoing success of Alyeska’s overall Buy Alaska program. The service was previously provided by a Lower 48 financial institution. First National offered Alyeska improved customer service with the enhanced management tools provided by MasterCard.
