ALYESKA
PIPELINE SELECTS ALASKAN COMPANY AS SECURITY CONTRACTOR

ANCHORAGE, AK October 27, 1999 Alyeska Pipeline
Service Company announced today that Doyon Universal Services has been selected as the
security contractor on the Trans Alaska Pipeline System.
The three-year, $40 million contract with Doyon Universal Services will go into
effect on November 15, 1999. Approximately
160 security positions in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Valdez and along the 800-mile pipeline are
covered by the security contract.
Included in the contract are services for security
officers, medics, fire fighters, and drug and alcohol testing services.
Doyon Universal Services was selected because of their
commitment to safety and their employees, cost efficiencies, and a strong blend of
technology and professional staff.
The current security contractor, Ahtna/AGA Inc., has worked
along the pipeline system since pipeline construction.

has been a great security partner to us for many years.
The individuals who have worked with us are to be commended for their
professionalism and long-time support of the pipeline system.
