ANCHORAGE, AK – September 11, 2001 – In response to the apparent terror attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., Alyeska Pipeline has heightened security on the Trans Alaska Pipeline System. We cannot elaborate on what steps are being taken. The pipeline is still operating and there are no plans at this point to shut it down.
