Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (Alyeska) operates and maintains the 800-mile Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). Formed in 1970 to design and build the pipeline, Alyeska acts as agent for the TAPS owner companies. Approximately 800 employees work in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Valdez and field locations along the pipeline.
Alyeska’s mission is to provide safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and cost-effective oil pipeline transportation from the North Slope of Alaska.
